Wheel Weights
Description
Combining the proven performance of the NT series machines with an efficient Clip-Feeding System, Techmire built a fully automated insert die casting system to overmold wheel weights from 5g to 60g from the loading of the clips to the ejection of the part. Furthermore, secondary operations can also be eliminated with the auto-degating function, which comes standard on all 66NT Wheel Weight machines, thus improving production capacity and saving in production cost.
The Wheel Weight series machines can produce up to 3,240 parts per hour, and can run up to 36 hours of production with one full load of clips (see chart for details). This level of productivity can be reached while achieving CPk greater than 1.33 within tolerance for weight of ± 0.28g and for gap of clip of ± 0.1016 mm.
